Age Requirements
Clients must be at least 18 years of age when discussing commission quotes. Clients will be asked to provide proof of age/identity (government ID) before payment is accepted.

Quotes
A general price outline can be viewed here. Clients are expected to submit a quote form on the Salty Dog Workshop website “Get In Touch” page. I will email a response to the Client email address provided within 3 business days.
Clients must include all requirements and requested features in the quote form to receive an accurate quote for their commission. Any additional features noted

Upon receiving an email of acceptance, Downpayment of 25% within 5 business days is required to secure a commission slot.

Payment
Payments are received through Stripe, with invoices sent to the Client’s provided email. Shipping costs are NOT included in commission price - once commission is packaged, I will get a shipping quote from a local courier and invoice the cost to the Client.

Downpayment of 25% required to secure a commission slot. Patterning and construction of commission will not begin until the entire quoted payment is received.

Turnaround Times
Each commission has unique features and may vary in completion time. I will provide an estimated timeline when confirming quote details, although I aim for products to be completed within 3-6 months from time of full payment.

The Client is entitled to a full refund if I have not shipped their commissioned product within 18 months of receiving full payment, unless otherwise stated in commission agreement.

Reference Materials
The Client must provide at least one reference image with a front, back, and side view of their character for fursuit commissions. Reference images provided must accurately represent the patterns and features shown on the final product. Any changes made to the commission as a result of inaccurate references may be charged for a fee.
Artistic Liberty commissions are exempt from the Reference Material terms of service.

Artistic Liberty
Artistic Liberty commissions enable me to create a unique product with minimal design restrictions, and ability to make executive design decisions. Should a client choose this style of commission, they must understand that the final product will be completed at my discretion.

Warranty
If a completed commission doesn’t fit quite right or has other notable concerns, the client is expected to contact Salty Dog Workshop to initiate resolution. Depending on the situation and my discretion, I may cover the costs of shipping for issues such as incorrect patterning. Otherwise, the client is held responsible to cover the costs of shipping.

Hateful Behaviours
Salty Dog Workshop is Queer and inclusive at its core. As a transgender and Queer artist, I will not have my work associated with alt-right, fascist, discriminative, or otherwise hateful behaviours.
Any individuals expressing these beliefs and behaviours will be denied commission opportunities. I reserve the right to refund the Client for their commission, minus costs for completed labour and materials purchased.

Media Rights
Unless otherwise agreed upon with the client, I reserve the right to post media of the commission throughout the process. If the commission is intended to be a surprise and the client does not want it shared on social media, this must be mentioned during the quote finalisation.
Media may also be used in promotional materials to showcase completed works.
Clients are not permitted to post/share behind the scenes media taken by Salty Dog Workshop without asking for permission.
